PAID INTERNSHIPS
Target Margin offers paid full-time internships through the year, designed to provide mentoring and rigorous hands-on training in theater production, management, marketing, development and artistic creation. We are specifically seeking candidates whose background represents the breadth of diversity in our borough of Brooklyn and our local Sunset Park community. Theater-background, education, or previous experience in a non-profit arts organization is preferred but not required, and we strongly encourage BIPOC applicants and applicants of different ages and abilities to apply. Limited part-time internships may also be available on a seasonal basis depending on programming.

ARTISTS
TMT thrives on the meeting and connecting with new artists. We value new voices and perspectives that challenge our assumptions and define an “artist” broadly as anyone who makes things. This includes actors, writers, directors, designers, stage managers, production managers, technical directors, and any and all people whose combined work is essential to the physical manifestation of “the thing.” There is only one circle at TMT. Please note, we DO NOT accept play submissions for reading, development, or production as there are many other great institutions serving this need.

VOLUNTEERS
Each season, TMT is grateful to be supported by a robust team of volunteers who give their time to help run our concessions/front of house for productions, complete beautification projects in our theater, assist our team in making our annual gala a success, and much more!

ACCESSIBILITY
The Doxsee Theater is located on street level. There is a single-occupancy restroom within the theater that is wheelchair accessible. The studio spaces and office are up one flight of stairs and are not wheelchair accessible.
