For twenty years Target Margin Theater has made hand-crafted magic in plain sight. Our Titus Andronicus splashed buckets of blood onto the Lower East Side and its mark can still be seen. Now we bring The Tempest to life in an old-fashioned theater, from a rich and strange past we never knew, for a future we want to create. An aging master magician clumsily tries to control the beautiful fiery and silly spirits on his little island, far from the main stream of his culture. The spell is still gorgeous, but fading. Or is it a brave new beginning?
