PROJECT 251
Our season of nonsense is anchored by a new play, Project 251, a meditation on the future of our country. This work aspires to lift up the absurdity of the U.S.A. today and turn in hope to a frighteningly uncertain future.
Created by Artistic Director David Herskovits, Project 251 will use contemporary and historic reporting and documents, and the writings of authors such as Alfred Jarry, Edward Lear, and Gertrude Stein, Tristan Tzara, and Kurt Schwitters.
