Led by our Community & Community Manager, Alyssa Haddad-Chin, TMT Community Café is an ongoing series of community gatherings anchored by storytelling, artistic expression, and the breaking of bread in an effort to prosper unity and celebration among various collectives of people in our community. The TMT Community Café evolve from our Listening Sessions and festivities with our local partnerships.
In March 2024, we had our inaugural TMT Community Café for the SWANA community to share strength and highlight joy during a time of great devastation and increased racism and violence toward SWANA peoples in our society.

Past TMT Community Cafés include Community Café for Degenerates, The Community Café for All, IFTAR Community Café (in collaboration with the Women’s Empowerment Coalition), HoliGAY Soirée (for the LGBTQIA+ community), Local Artists (for artists in South Brooklyn & Staten Island), SWANA Community, and Kindred Theater Staff
